What happens when you get a camera on Cass

We call this the super cheese!!!!! She cheeses her butt off when I point a camera at her and the result is this face that just cracks me up... Here are pics that I found of her doing it just in the last 2 months....

Cassie is a girl after my own heart.... the pictures say it all

She loves going through Preston's wallet

AND

She loves ice cream

Flowers:)

Planting flowers with Daddy! Preston and I decided to finally give up on our failing bush in the front yard and we opted for flowers. Kaiya went with Daddy to pick them out and we wound up with flowers of every color:) The girls helped plant them and are having fun watering them. Preston and I are hoping that our killing curse has ended!!! Two bushes on each side of the drive way have bit the dust! So lets hope the flowers fare better :P

The Spring Game:)

Well... we did not expect to be spending Saturday with 95,000 of our closest friends... but we did:) We also were not expecting to walk 2 1/2 miles EACH WAY carrying our kiddos... but we did! And you know what.... it was a lot of fun! My two little cheerleaders made it all the way through the first half:) Here are some of my pics!

Airborn......

My wild girls love this.... Daddy tossing them in the air:) We call it "high in the sky" !!

Kaiya in her new princess glasses.... and a fashion patch!

We just got them yesterday and she seems to really like them.. even though they are now bi-focals and her one eye has an extremely high prescription. But I think they look adorable on her and she seems to like them!

And here is the cutest patch... my sweet friend Marnie from my message board was sweet enough to send an entire box of fashion patches!!!!

Whew..... Easter weekend.... way fun.... now time to rest:)

Saturday - what fun.... we went to the Highlands Park Easter Egg Hunt in the morning, it was nuts, got a few eggs, then ran over to a cool playground that was right by the hunt and had some more fun after checking the loot:) Em and Adam came with the kids and we all ran around the playground all together. Then we went home, changed Kaiya who was very muddy, and headed off to Tyler's bday party at the Magic Mountain.... the girls first visit there... and not the last.... the girls had a ball and then Cass and I headed in to take a nap and Preston went outside to do yard work with a sassy little helper that was singing most of the time:) (These pics are not totally in order for some reason:)

Sunday - what a nice day, we started off first thing with the girls getting thier easter baskets from Mommy and Daddy and the Easter Bunny, then Grandma came for the an Easter visit (Easter with Mom and Dad is tomorrow:)). Papa came around noon and delivered Easter baskets... from the Ashland Easter Bunny:) They loved them. We hung with Papa for the day and then attempted egg coloring, which turned out better then I thought:P The we spent the rest of the day outside, it was wonderful! Lovely Easter Sunday!

HOPPY EASTER ONE AND ALL :)

I think we have been celebrating Spring or some form of it for 2 weeks now :P

It just seems like we have found all sorts of fun ways to celebrate spring of the last two weeks! Here is a log of the things we have done!

Holy Crap its nice out day! We finally got some great weather and what better way to celebrate with kids... a day at the playground! I met Mom and Em and her crowd over at the this really nice playground in Westerville and we played the day away! It was a bit windy... but we did not care, the sun was shining and the kids were happy,.... well Cassie was happy as long as she was in a swing... she was a swing hog all day!!!

The Ohio Dominican Easter Egg Hunt and visiting the Easter Bunny. What fun, Mom and Papa Clay joined Preston the girls and I for the ODU Easter Egg hunt... granted it was FREEZING but we had fun and I was amazed neither of my girls freaked at the Easter Bunny:) It was a great day, matching dresses and all:) Of Course!

Lazy day with Daddy and picking flower day! This was such a nice day out and the girls saw the "amazing yellow flowers" according to Kaiya growing in our neighbors yard.... they were thrilled and picked a bunch and then came inside colored and laid around with their favorite guy.

Bounce House day... our wonderful neighbors Kim and Jason held a birthday party at their house for their daughter Haliegh and the renting this HUGE bounce house! Kaiya and Cassie have always been afraid of them.... but knew this was the best time to try to get them in... and a familiar place! And gosh darnet.... they both went in... as did Preston and I and I am not gonna lie... It was frickin FUN!

Baton day... not sure how this happened either. I think I can blame Em because she got the bug to break out the batons and twirl.... of course we realized that the batons were too big.... for the kids... so we bought them their own batons... real ones!! And they are adorable!!! In the first pic you can see Kaiya with my baton and her and Cassie's to see the size difference :)

A random Princess day... whe some how the girls dressses were spilled over on to the boys... and let me tell you.... they rocked them! Too cute... here are all the prncesses... and I am sure Em and Adam are saving for therapy for Charlie and Austin:P

The Princess Egg Hunt... not sure how it got so princessy..... I think it started with Hannah calling me early in the day asking if the girls could wear princess dresses with her... so I complied and went to the basement and even dug out some of my glory day pagenat crowns for them to wear.... it was so fun... and the funniest part was when they came running down the stairs (I hid eggs, while Em and Mom kept all 5 kiddos in Cassie's room) and my Charlie took his basket and immediately started putting random toys in it.... it was so cute.... I dont think he quite understood the concept... but he had fun!
