Update on my sweet Kaiya

Thank you for all the prayers and good thoughts for my baby girl. For those of you that did not know, Kaiya had to be rushed to Children's Hospital on Saturday for an intestinal innasuseption (sp?)(basically means the intestine basically "telescopes" onto itself caused blockage, pain, fever and inflammation). She had to have a lot of tests, and IV and eventually a procedure to correct it. We did not have to have the surgery thank goodness!!! She is home and doing better each day - still has a fever and is very lethargic but we are starting to see signs of the old Kaiya slowly but surely!! She is still feverish, but is starting to be a bit sassy - which is GREAT!! She tried to curl up with Cassie in the bouncer last night - love it! We had a follow up x-ray and tests done yesterday and they all look good so far and we have another follow up the end of this week.

I took some pics of her in the hospital on my cell phone.... I will see if I can down load one - this is in the ER before her procedure after she got her IV. It was the first time she stood up all day...



Hopefully the worst is over, having a sick child is truly the most helpless feeling in the world:(

Kaiya is a home owner....

The Zoo Visits Easton Town Center

The Columbus Zoo came to Easton last week and brought 3 Cuban Flamingos, an Armidillo, a Snake and Bear Cat.

It was really fun .... although Kaiya was afraid of the snake, thats my girl!!!

Preston, his Dad, the girls and I went to see the butterfly exibit at the Franklin Park Conservatory. It was such a nice day and Kaiya had a blast! Little Cassie slept through the entire trip!!
